Our Business02Track Machine Maintenance

Aiming at High-Quality Maintenance as the Foundation of Safety

Our Mechanical Engineers Support Tomorrow's Facilities, Maintenance Operations, and Train Operations

Machinery and equipment must always be kept in top condition. However, daily use causes wear and tear, so regular maintenance is essential. At RAILTEC, we draw on our extensive expertise and experience with the specialized functions and structures of machinery to provide our customers with high-quality equipment. In addition, we support railway safety and comfort by ensuring the stable operation of our facility maintenance services.
Periodic Inspections and Repairs
At RAILTEC, our certified machinery managers oversee safety, quality control, and process management. They implement safety measures to prevent workplace accidents, falls, and electric shocks. They ensure high-precision finishes and perform efficient, effective maintenance to keep machinery running smoothly and performing at its best. And they track daily progress and coordinate schedules with partner companies for periodic inspections and repair work on a wide variety of machinery, ranging from track maintenance equipment, such as tamping machines and rail reprofiling vehicles, to various smaller machines used throughout the JR West service area.
Furthermore, we monitor and analyze failure trends and machinery conditions to anticipate potential future failures and carry out preventive maintenance as needed.
Large-Scale Machinery Maintenance
To facilitate the maintenance of large-scale track maintenance machinery, the JR West Fukuyama Maintenance Base is equipped with a long facility where track maintenance machinery up to 200 meters in length can be accommodated and inspected. This allows for the efficient disassembly of the equipment, checking for wear and tear, and replacement of necessary parts.
Quality Standardization and Improved Operational Capabilities
RAILTEC centralizes the maintenance of its large, highly complex track maintenance machinery, such as tamping machines, rail reprofiling vehicles, and high-speed inspection vehicles, at its well-equipped Fukuyama facility. This centralization standardizes maintenance procedures, ensuring consistent quality across all units of the same machine model.
Maintaining our own machinery also gives us a deeper understanding of its structure and operating principles, improving our ability to respond quickly when abnormalities occur during track maintenance operations.
Every day, we send out vehicles after performing flawless maintenance.
All our work ultimately connects us to our customers.
